    Summary of Position:

     

    The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the training and development of all sales and operations of the assigned region.  This position implements and executes training strategies, policies and procedures to attain or exceed corporate profitability targets, sales goals and quality of service objectives established in company and client’s strategic plans and budgets.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Drive retention through effective training & operations execution
    • Reports to Regional Directors, and partners with People Success Coaches, Market Managers, & Sales Enablement
    • Training strategy execution
      • Communication, Reporting, Effectiveness, Optimization
      • Training Certification compliance
      • “Top Performer” best practices learnings
      • “Bottom Performer” improvement planning (in collaboration with RD)
    • Responsible for training & onboarding Market Managers
      • Coordinate with People Success Coaches
      • Execute when not in “launch”
    • Operational Compliance & Effectiveness
      • Market Manager Visits (compliance, effectiveness, time management)
      • Dark Days (schedules, peak hours, ADP exceptions, overtime, anticipated overtime, attendance policy)
      • Retention (Comp visibility/tools, training effectiveness)
    • Report Effectiveness
      • Operator ID compliance
      • Actionable reports
    • Maintain a consistent and high quality corporate brand image throughout all stores via merchandising, promotional events, store cleanliness and appearance, and staff appearance.
    • Acts as liaison between field management, market, regional and local activities
    • Develops and maintains positive, professional, collaborative relationships with clients and retailers ensuring client satisfaction and program/team retention
    • Creates a culture of performance excellence that attracts and retains top talent

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and 10 + years’ experience in retail or big box retail operations.
    • Proven track record in Retail and/or Wireless or Consumer Electronic leadership roles achieving tactical goals.
    • Ability to create and sustain customer engaging cultures.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Extensive travel within company network footprint required.
    • Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills required.
    • Evidence of forward-thinking, problem solving, multi-tasking, detail-oriented, analytical behaviors required.
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MapPoint, Access) proficiency required.
    • Evidence of success in use of systems/tools that track sales, expenses, incentives, profit, loss, etc.
    • Ability to travel to retail locations in divisions/markets weekly.
